    Mark your calendar now and tell your friends. The 56th Annual Bay Bottom Crawl will be February 14th and 15th 2015. Hotels fill up quickly this time of year so we recommend that you obtain your hotel reservations early.
    We know hotel rates are expensive this time of year so we are trying something new. There may be some room for camping on the road for those adventurist types.
    If you do not want to run your car, but still want to participate, we need workers.

    We need as much participation as we can get if we are going to keep this event going.

    The Not Your Average Hotel, 420 Margaret St., Key West has rooms available that will accommodate up to 6 people for the same price as one person. A recent article says $240 for the room. They also have three pools and a spa on the premise. For contact information, you will need to check on the internet.

    The next EV meeting will be January 29, 2015, 7:30 pm at the Sugarloaf Fire Department. Bring your own food and beverage. All subsequent meetings will be the first and third Thursday of the month, also at the Sugarloaf FD.

    The next college event will be Sunday March 15, at the Florida Keys CC on stock Island. Other than the Bay Bottom Crawl, all events are held on a Sunday. The emphasize of the college events is more on driver control than all out speed. Trophies are awarded at the end of the event. After the event, those interested gather at Boondocks for lunch and to brag or commiserate. Assistance from entrants is always needed to set up club equipment at 9 am and to break down after the event.
